I have a 1980 Busby 2 axle pup trailer and I'm wondering approx. how much weight it will transfer to the truck loaded/unloaded. It's not the spread axle so does not have the hinged drawbar. Thanks.

If the suspension is centered under the box, there should be no difference loaded or empty. A pup trailer on a dump truck is not designed to transfer any weight of the load to the rear of the truck under normal circumstances. Some 3 and 4 axle pups have a lift axle for the first axle but this is more for reducing the sideways drag when you jack knife to dump the truck.
