Hmmm . . . sounds like after misusing it, he went in one direction and the torch landed there . . . or maybe he went to work in the forest. - Could beeee :I

infra-red

I just got an infra-red machine. (4x4) They are cool, I mean hot.

As far as the torch good find. You should be able to find a lot of uses for it.

First shot is machine
second shot is chuck hole
third is after repair, notice no seam, no bump, no new asphalt just recilced old chunks I found. less then 1 hour to patch, 1 or 2 man operation. 20 holes per tank of propane,
For the investment this is one of the best deals I have ever made.

Diesel fuel. Do not get it on your road/ parking lot. It'll eat away at the mat. It's good for cleaning up tools and such though.

Its a pretty common practice to use the torch for alot of things blacktop. I'm not sure if you think blacktop blows up when a flame touches it.

Sniffin diesel fumes.
I assumed that BRL was talking about having to clean the torch part, not the tank part. Sorry if I misunderstood! :eek2

You don't think it's a good idea to throw that propane tank into a fire to melt the asphalt off?

Sounds like a good plan to me.Since I live a long way off.:D:D
