Looking to purchase a portable screener. Looking for recommendations on what to buy or what not to buy. Had a screen machine spyder at one time and liked the concept but it seemed like the screen action was sub standard. I'm leaning toward a track model. Need 2 deck with a grizzly. Will not be screening topsoil, have a trommel for that. Will be sand gravel and rock. Probably go 1-3/4 on top screen and 3/4 on bottom most of the time. Would like to do about 200 TPH average. Would be feeding with a 350 excavator or 4 yard wheel loader. Looking for input.

I run two Powerscreen 1400's, tracked two deck, one for top soil and one for very fine sand. Both run 40mm top deck, and 8mm aperture piano / harp wires for soil and 3mm for sand. One machine has just hit 9000 hours, the other 1500. Great bit of gear. I cant say for TPH as we run very fine but I would think 200 TPH is quite achievable with larger screen sizes. Very maneuverable, parts are reasonably available here in Aus and the bearings etc are all easily available from any industrial shop. Cat engines seem to be super reliable, we service at 250 hours.
