haven't posted in a while... buddy that i work with just picked this beauty up first one on Vancouver Island

Kubota SVL90

this thing is a tank and a huge step up from the bobcat s130

Tracks are pretty much the only way to go. The only guys with skid-steers that make any money are the ones with tracks. Those new Kubota are very sharp looking machines hope it works out for you.

that pvc going into the ground, with the wye put on it....what's that for? is that the well you were talking about? why you wyed into it? don't most DENR's require you abandon old wells with concrete of bentonite? or am i missing something there? here, you'd NEVER be allowed to take surface water, or water from another aquifer, and inject it into another. nice equipment tho.

well when we first started work on the property we noticed the ground was very wet, then when we excavated for the sport court we came across that well and as we scraped the surface around it water was just pouring out onto the clay, so we dug all the fill out of it about 15' down and by that time it was time to pack up so we left for the day came back the next morning and it was full to the top of the well and water was running down over the clay. So we called in a geotech to see what we should do about it and he recommended because the well filled up so fast and was over flowing that we place that pipe in the center fill around it with sand and then run a pipe down to the beach so the water could escape without saturating the entire property.

Have you had any issues with the SVL 90?

Hey RCTech9 we have around 100 hours on it and not one issue! The machine is incredible lots of power,great lifting capacity overall a great machine it could easily handle a larger bucket but why move more material faster and get paid less...haha we also have a new attachment coming sometime this week I'll post pics when it arrives!
