Wasn't exactly an overload... Buddy forgot to tighten lug nuts on his horse trailer. He figured something was amiss when his two driver side wheels of the tandem passed him on the highway. He left his mark on the highway as he pulled to the shoulder. I had my trailer to take his horses & wife back home. As CM1995 experienced, drivers won't give an inch or slow down. I called the state highway patrol to help. Troopers parked his car with flashers in the right lane to give us some space to off load & transfer the animals. I figured calling the HP before unloading was prudent because they were gonna get called anyway if we lost control. Trooper agreed and was most helpful.
