Old D4 dozer governor

Have a1950 D4, 315d have to get the governor off to get the pinion assembly out. Are there bolts behind the governor against the block that hold it

You need to engaged the pinion, removed the rear cover from pinion housing and removed the small bolts 3/8 from the big motor plate inspection and removed the governor cover and he should coming out

Should't have bolt behind the governor and did you try to removed the pinion out before removed the governor
Hector thank you for your help. Got the governor off and the pinion out. The pinion sleeve has come off and all the set screws are gone, including ene of the adjusting screws and the spring. Is there anyplace to get parts?
