New to me TD-7c

just bought this unit for personal work and blew a hydraulic line or component above the skid plate.Is there any advice on skid plate removal?

Put a jack under it and what ever u do don’t be laying under it when u take the bolts out. May sound stupid but those things are crazy heavy of dirt is piled up in them from years of not being off. Let jack support it and let it down to ground.

A chain hooked from one side to the other with a come-a-long on it is how I lot saw of them taken off.
Remove the bolts and leter down.
