What are you guys running for scan tooling for automotive?

We have a Snapon Solus Ultra at work and are constantly having to send pickup trucks to ford because this snap off POS will not "SEE" the issues, yet when the dealer plugs in there it is. Or you are asked to cycle a function or switch when testing and the Solus is not capable.
The F-550's with the 6.7 are the worst

The scanner we run gets sent to snap on a regular basis for the updates, its not very old but the automotive department is just about ready to put it into the filter crusher.

I would like to get them something that will do the job.

So, what do you run and does it do what you need?

Factory Ford software VCM 2 isn't too bad priced and will do everything Ford.
Dealershipclosouts.com used to have really good prices, now it looks like you have to call them for pricing.
