Missing 580L series 2 "L rear axle and Planetaries" section in service manual.

I bought this manual a couple of months ago.I just noticed this section is missing out of the Powertrain tab.I have a 580 series 1 section and it covers both the 580 SL and L .Would this section on the series 1 work on the series 2 L?if not what differences are they?
