Michigan L90 electrical issues

Hello All,
I am haveing trouble with an old L90 loader ser# 90140580. We have had no issues with this loader in years. WE wanted to try to move an old international truck that has been sitting for quite awhile. So we rode the loader down to the truck left the loader running and pulled it,s batteries to try and start the truck with. Truck did not want to turn over, might be moisture in the starter causing the armitture to be locked in position. Back to the loader problem, put the batteries back in the loader engine was still running but we had no power to the gauges no power to actuate the automatic shifter. Absolutely dead in the cab no lights no radio ...just dead. Any Ideas, thoughts, right now we are starting at the batteries and moveing forward. We pulled the fuse panel out and checked for continuity on the power supply cable ..was OK. We have power to the starter and ground to the engine. WHAT Happened?

Did you accidentally hook em up in parallel vs series?
Volvos are loaded with diodes, yes Michigans too. They dont like when you disconnect while running. After you establish where power begins and ends, look at the bottom of the fuse panel. There should be some diode packs in connectors 3 or 4 to a bunch. You want to make sure none have gone open. Also there is a 3 amp( iirc) fuse in the ECU . Make sure that hasn't failed

Well we have to say a"shame on us" we had hooked up the batteries in parallel instead of series! Once corrected she fired up and purred like it always had. For those that wanted to know the loader is the Volvo series. We did check to make sure that we did not blow the three amp fuse on the back side of the ecu. All was fine and the michigan was ready for work. thank you all that replied with the info
