Hi!

Is anyone familiar with this machine?
i have one vintage (1969) working one, but would need some U.C parts, berco doesnt manufacture anymore...
when i was in contact with the MF headquarters they called the machine double trouble over there
I could put som pics when i figure out how to do it

Some smaller MF used Fiat tracks,& I think I heard of larger units being fitted with tracks from Cat or Case.Try to get friendly with a track seller,& get some cross-ref info.

If you can find the original specs for pitch, rail height, pin and bush diameters, etc., you would be able to shop around among the various tarck manufacturers for replacement parts. DEAS you made a mans job, when you where typing all that stuff

now i would really be surpriced if nobody from that list could suply me with some new idlers! at the moment i'm afraid thaaat the right idler shaft will break (worn A LOT) and the right idler is replaced with a wrong size idler from some cat?
rollers can be replaced with some CAT rollers, but the holes need to be relocated a little bit.

but i will put e-mails to this list of parts sources, maybe somebody would have cheap left over parts in some corner

when i put some e mails to the MF manufacturer, they where thrilled when they heard that there still is some 3366 "double trouble" machines working
even altough they admitted that they are really spareparts thirsty machines, they couldn't suply me with any parts.

Hi, Sparffo.
Just to set the record straight, I didn't type that list out. I copied it from a site somewhere. LOL.

Berco are a long way from being the only after-market manufacturer of replacement track parts these days. Even the Chinese and Koreans are getting into the act now, although I have no knowledge of the quality of their offerings.

If you can find something with sprockets within half an inch (12-13mm.) or so of the diameter of the 3366 sprockets that you CAN get chain and other parts for, you could cut the 'tooth ring' off yours and weld the others on. This would give you some extra options. If you can find some sprockets that meet the criteria and have bolt-on segments, so much the better. You could then weld the bolt-on ring to your sprocket hubs, even if you had to cut the bolt-on rings off some old sprockets.

Thanks for the hint! I contacted http://industrialtractorparts.com now lets see what they say, if they can provide the idlers&rollers. Minnpar didn't have them anymore, so they are quite hard to find!
I know one Hector Gemme guy that has, but shipping is a problem in his case :beatsme
The MF3366 is still a quite neat tractor for it's age! just a little slow with the one speed shuttle gear box, it's not so fast to switch ranges from hi to lo all the time...

So far this is the best thing i have done in my idler haunt!! man this company really has a great service!! 10 points and a beer for them!
They couldn't provide me with idlers, but could modify cat rollers to fit (like the finnish berco dealer). so i sent a mail to thank them for the trouble they went through.
and one day after they sent me an new mail they had got some offer from pakistan, it was some local casting company that does out of line MF castings:drinkup normal companys wouldnt care less if they couldn't get their share of money, but these guys did it better.

I had this MF300 BERCO idler spec in my files...it suggests that a CASE 1000 or 1150 idler might fit.The quality is average.
There is also a few fiat seal numbers in there,plus a CASE sprocket number.
I know the 3366 are similar size to the 300,but not sure if track gear is same.

BERCO LA 433 is idler,with no brackets.
CA 100 is the CASE Sprocket

Remember,this is for a MF300.
I seem to remember a CAT chain fitting some MF models...maybe the 300,400 or 600 units.

Hi JustME,
Your Berco agent should help with weld on rims for a MF300.
It might be a close fit with some Fiat or Cat machine.
Berco agents have books with diagrams like my previously posted Idler diagram.
I know the Berco number for a MF200 rim is : LA378
the " LA" part is Landini.

If you still have sourcing problems,I know of 2 Aussie guys who can get what you need.

I haven't been around here for awhile.Looks like you are busy also.
I see you got the D41S going well...they are a good machine & a good size for many tasks.
With regard to the idler,I can't help with the picture again...my main PC is virus-riddeen ,& my files are locked up in there somewhere.
The diagram I sent is a Berco drawing,so a Berco agent should help you OK.

Sir, although your message is almost a year old I want to beleive you will reply. I am very interested in finding how you repaired the sprocket. I have massey ferguson mf200 loader and the sprockets are breaking on their sides. yes an insert would be great but where do you get them and how do you weld them so they can be straight in line !. I would certainly would appreciat a reply. thanks in advance

The BERCO number for your sprockets & rims: SPROCKET...LA333
: RIM..LA378
These are not hard to get,even in Australia,so you should find them OK.
Berco is sold thru Komatsu dealers in Australia.
I'm sure other makers also supply MF running gear.
