Currently working on a volvo ec 160b, the machine ran fine, but the safety switch in the cab doesnt release the hydraulics, and i cannot operate anything. Only the machine will turn on and thats it. My question is where is the solenoid for that lever, to get a functioning machine located. In my wiring diagram it is called ma45. Any help is appreciated.

Inside the same cabinet as the pump right rear corner. There should be little zip ties with tiny white markers look for the one labeled m a 45 it should be on one end of the solenoid Bank take the one from the opposite end the magnet and switch it with that one that that should sacrifice high speed travel for safety function. You won't be able to crawl fast but at least all your other functions will be released
By the way have you checked all your fuses. And this might sound silly but does your fuel gauge work

Whatever you do, don't take that safety switch apart till youve got the whole armrest apart. The switch will flop over and you'll have a challenge getting it back just right.
