Looking to have a couple moved over states so trying to figure out the 'no fuss or risk' setup for this. Obviously an RGN is ideal but very few guys running with one, thus I ain't paying extra for that. Was wondering about semi step decks with ramps, how many are out with a dove plus ramps, length of ramps, angles, etc? For comparison, our heavy pintle trailer is 14* load angle. This setup would be nothing for a big Tele.

Cat herder.
We move our telehandlers regularly on a standard step deck. We have a set of aluminum ramps that are 102" long and pin onto the back of the trailer for loading. Most step deck drivers seem to have a similar pair of ramps.

The machines handle it without a fuss. I've never measured clearance at the top of the ramps but it looks like 6" +/-.

We do dump the trailer air suspension before loading.

With the right trailer and lobed driver you should be able to haul them together as long as gross wt is under 80k.

Just to clarify, are you asking about hiring out the hauling, or is this a transport that you plan on doing yourself and want to know what trailer rig would work best. Your post isn't really clear about that.
