Hey All:

Where do you buy your caterpillar lights and parts in general that aren't critical items that don't need to be genuine parts?

Thanks.

Well, the lamp assembly is $47 from Caterpillar.
It's made by ABL, which is $29+shipping, from my Cat dealer, via Transelectric. I dont know if all Cat dealers sell Transelectric, but a lot of heavy equipment dealers do. You can also buy direct.

The only thing is the ABL from Transelectric will just have pigtail wires. IIRC, yours have the deutsche connector in the body.

Big trucks is what I know. HAZMAT is what I tow.
With LED’s, the old 12v 55 watt/H3 24v 70 watt/H3 work lamp is obsolete. But, why not? It’s easy enough to change a bulb on a otherwise good lamp housing.

Check out the Hella 70 series 99617649 as a good H3 lamp assembly. $40 or so. Have to install your own Deutsche connector.
