We used to have a kubota was about 5t and would be atleast 20 years old by now, had a bendy boom and was zero swing. Good machine but had a solenoid problem i think

O.K, What about a Kubota151 Excavator ?

I had a KX151 years ago, was a great machine, not a problem to be had with it. I put a quick attach and a hydraulic thumb on it and ran it for years. It would be old by now but if you could find a genuine low hour, WELL MAINTAINED unit I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one. An older early series KX161 would be even better and there are plenty out there. I have a 161-3 now and it is a great unit as well, it just has better features than an older 151, like AC, auto idle, quicker hydraulics and weighs a bit more, it also is a great performer as well.

View attachment 225182 20200929_155851.jpg Looking for info on a kubota KX-012 VERY HARD TO OBTAIN SPECS ENGINE TYPE AND SIZE. it's a 3 cylinder diesel. Any help would be appreciated. Where the boom is mounted to under carry it is stamped KX014-11094. But compliance plate says KX012. I've included pics, original colour was Blue but wanted it to look more like the later ones. Cheers for any info on this machine or where to obtain specs, operator/service/workshop manuals would be much appreciated.
