Funny how the arm is in the rest position, maybe caught fire on warm up?????

Whoops the operator shouldn't have been heating his lunch up on the exhaust manifold :laugh

Its sad to see a million dollar or more machine going up in flames its pretty much spare parts and scrap now.

It's a shame to see a piece of equipment go out like that.

This should be a reminder for everyone to keep a fire extinguisher on their machines at all times, and have the extinguisher checked out at least every six months. In my line of work, I see a lot of burnt crispy machines, machines that would still be working properly if a fire extinguisher had been handy.


Oh yeah, Keep those catch pans clean too!!!!!

The owner was probably phoning the insurance company can I have the insurance increased on the Komatsu 1800 I think it might catch on fire :bouncegri

Hydraulic oil burns hotter than gasoline I use used hydraulic oil to burn bramble bushes mix it with a little bit of diesel fuel.

Looking for a used dipper arm for PC1800, year 1998.
