Komatsu D65ex-16 Good Dozer?

Would like thoughts and opinions on the D65ex-16 dozer, going to have a look at one 8500hrs on clock, rebuilt engine approximately 1000 - 1500hrs ago due to cracked rings. Is this unusual for one of these engines and how many hrs should the drive train be good for? Thanks
