I've been having some issues with my D61-px15 gradually overheating after about 2 hours of use. I have started troubleshooting based on engine/dozer service manuals but hoping to get some additional advice here. So anyone has an idea ? The radiator is clean, thermostat new. My oppinion is the cooling fan not working the best, always workd with the engine rpm and never spin a littlebit faster, so when the power train oil becoming the operating temperature, a littlebit later the engine starts overheating, so i think the cooling fan not working good

Thanks for any answear!
Rudolf from Europe.

Enter the service menu and find Fan 100% Speed Mode. Check fan speed with photo tach to see if you fan speed matches below specs.

At first thank you so much for your answer!
I have already tried this function: fan 100% speed mode but nothing has changed.
And the reverse [or cleaner] mode does not work when i want to use it..
And the hydraulic oil temperature gauge does not work, could this be the source of the problem ?
You know where can i find the hydraulic oil temperature gauge?

Thank you so much for the answer !

Who's your Komatsu dealer for parts in Hungary? In UK we have Marubeni-Komatsu Ltd +44 1527 512512. Also have www.kedgeworth.com who are Komatsu specialists.

When gets hot, have you measured actual top radiator hose, bottom hose and engine oil filter using temperature gun?
What drive does fan have, can you test for fan speed when hot?
If it is getting actually overheated, is the radiator definitely clean, inside as well as outside? The machine is at the age where debris can slow down flow from top to bottom inside, especially if coolant hasn't been changed regularly.
