While I'm into the steering clutches I may need to work on the modulator valve. The machine has very hard shifts from neutral to forward and reverse. Also, when releasing the inching pedal. Is this something that I, as a retired aircraft mechanic, could attempt to overhaul or should I sent it to a suitable shop? If so, where is a good shop that is affordable?
