been looking at some new buckets for my '98 sk130lc. are they the same as the buckets for the 120s? there are quite a few around, but they all say 120 or 150 on them, i assume one of these should work on my 130??

(the track question from the 120 to a 130 made me think :D )

thanks

hi eianewb,
the sk120 buckets differ from the sk130 buckets.
i do believe they will pin on but the spread or distance between the centre to centre of the pins are not the same.
if you have a hyd pin grabber or such...it may not work for you.
you will also lose out on some bucket breakout forces.

I have a sk75ur that is having fuel problems. It seems as if the machine unprimes itself every time I shut it down. No visible fuel leaks. the fuel all seems to bleed back to the tank. I hope I am using this forum properly. This is my first time.

hi picklehead,
it sounds as though you will need to replace your fuel lift pump and it would not hurt to also replace the fuel overflow (fuel control) valve.
also, be aware of those inline fuel screens.
if your engine is a Mitsubishi the input fuel hose attached by a fuel banjo bolt to the fuel lift pump will consist of a nylon mesh fuel screen screws into the bolt.
pinch line, remove bolt, unscrew screen and clean.
if damaged replace.
also, if the engine is an Isuzu there will be a second inline fuel screen located inside the bolt (same deal) affixing the fuel hose that leads from the fuel tank to the inlet port of the fuel water seperator filter head.
cheers!

Not sure if there's any problem or not, but SK290LC Dyn Ac. seems to take quite a while to warm up on 45 degree mornings. Scared to think how bad it might be in really cold weather!

THANKS!!!
It is a Isuzu. Where is a good place to buy a lift pump? I am going to fill the tank completely up with fuel, and I suspect gravity will push the fuel to the filter. That should confirm the lift pump failure. I will clean the screens first.

Thanks again Mr. Kobelco

hi rutwad,
there are a few things that may contribute to this.
the auto-warmup is dependent upon certain conditions to function properly.
if you give me a call i can run over items to check.
please have your serial number at that time.
ser# LB0#-?U####
also, if at all possible call me when you are sitting in the cab.
we can view your maintenance screens too.

hi picklehead,
you can purchase the fuel lift pump from us.
i will need all your fuel injection pump numbers record off the tag.
even numbers on the lift pump itself.
you might even be able to get from an authorised fuel inj pump overhaul shop.
i do stock these and will likely have it on our shelf.
e-mail numbers and your contact info to hf_hydraulics@hotmail.com

hi picklehead,
yes we can get all your parts needs. the body panels might be expensive new but there are other shopping avenues. such as H&R Construction parts.
i would suggest quoting on price and avail on new and H&R to explore all your options.
lights, no problem we stock them on our shelf.

hi colorado digger,
if you can wait, mid to late next year...
the new kobelco Tier 4 sk210lc-10
FPT engine (fiat powertrain) and kawasaki hydraulics
is definitely worth it.
a customer and i went to the factory (Calhoun, Georgia) for a one day clinic to compare the 210 mark 8 with the new 210 mark 10.
my customer was literally blown away!
he has already voiced that he wants to be the first to purchase one as soon as it comes out.
the machine is fast, fluid, strong in every area, and the machine reads exactly what you tell it to do with the joysticks. there is no hesitation.
i have no doubt that you will be impressed too!

hi diamondsten,
curious...why think aftermarket?
you'll likely find you cannot source other than from a kobelco dealer.
if you provide me your information,
serial number LL08-U####, LL09-U####, LL10-U####...
and which proportional valve you are requiring i can quote you.
we have good stock on all used on the kobelcos and reasonable prices too.
we take payment by either visa or mastercard.
thanks.
