Any word from the engine builder as to an inspection of internals?
Unfortunately no. I stopped by their shop today, to get injection pump and injector numbers and checking progress. When I drove up, it was on their back pad by the pressure washer. It had a bath. And that's it.
When I brought it last week, they said they were going to start on it monday, and I thought that sounded optimistic. When I went inside, they said they were starting on it in a hour. Never mind monday, tuesday, and wednesday, and most of thursday.
If they had told me upfront they wouldn't start until today (thursday), I can understand that. Don't tell me monday and not start on it until friday. My first thought was to tell them to just set it on my truck bed, and I'd deal with it myself. Temper, temper.
I told them to just uncover the bottom end, get a idea of the damage, and then we can make a decision. Its just the fact that I wasted a week, that parts could have been on their way. It's good for my patience building.
