Hi everyone,

I have a question about a John Deere 7930 tractor.
Does anyone know the correct resistance reading in ohms for the engine air pressure sensor?

If possible, please share the sensor test values or the related service manual specifications.

Thanks in advance for your help.

So engine is Tier 3 ,model # 6068HRW65 .
I don't find any resistance test specs for MAP sensor part # RE522723 .
Not overly familiar with Deere AG.
Are you able to access live engine data thru the monitor or a diagnostic display ?
If so compare , the MAP pressure sensor readings engine stopped versus under load.

After troubleshooting, it was determined that the MAP pressure sensor is damaged and does not send any data to the ECU. Since I do not have access to the required part, I would like to use another MAP pressure sensor whose resistance value is within the range suitable for this engine, and install it instead of the faulty sensor.

The engine air pressure (boost/MAP) sensor on a 7930 is an active electronic sensor, so there usually isn't a published "correct ohms" value to test it accurately with a multimeter. It's better to check the 5V reference, ground, and signal voltage while the sensor is connected.

If you need the exact diagnostic procedure, wiring diagrams, pinouts, and sensor test specifications for the 7930, the TM2234 Diagnostic & Test Manual is a great resource:

https://pdfmanualsshop.com/products...pdf-diagnostic-and-test-service-manual-tm2234

It includes detailed sensor troubleshooting steps and expected readings that will be more reliable than checking resistance alone.

So, does the MAP sensor with part number RE522723 have a pressure range of 0 to 5 bar?
