Hi guys!! Looking for help or some advice on what this might be. My machine takes spells where the engine warning light comes on. It operates at slower RPM’s, guess it goes into safe mode. It may last a few seconds or a minute or two. Goes off and back to work we go.love ran it hard for about 3 hours clearing & never missed a beat. Walked it 50 feet or so and starting working it and the light came on. I let it sit for several minutes at low rpm & it stayed on. Touched my sticks and reved up and the light went off. What could be the issue??
Thanks.

In the operators manual there is a procedure to read engine codes without a laptop.
It’s in section 4-1 Miscellaneous—Machine.
The link below is a page from the free download option at the Deere Bookstore.
https://techinfo-omview.apps-prod-v...recloud.com/omview/omt188255/09001faa8021f68a .
The fault code list in the operators manual is not very descriptive.

Whats your machine serial number ?

May have to access the proper engine manual for the fault code details

I have an Operation and Test manual for the Deere 160CLC, later tonight i can post info that explains this procedure in more detail with pictures if you need it.
One question at any time this problem acts up does the travel alarm start beeping when not traveling assuming alarm is plugged in not been disconnected? This is very important it can tell me a lot about wiring harness issues.

I guess it’s disconnected. But warning light will come on while traveling sometimes.
I will look in my book tomorrow and see what it says.

Wait sorry misread that about the alarm. It works when traveling but I have not noticed it beeping when not traveling
