Duh.......
We've always had a hard time keeping hoses on those rear pivot machines. Good sturdy units, however.

Our customers are crying the blues over the press release.Anyone that can afford to is buying new or used out of our rental fleet. No transmission, driveshafts or U-joints to grease. You don't even have to kneel down to grease the newer ones with the remote fittings on the steer axle. They have been much easier to maintain in rental fleet than Lull or Genie/Terex brand handlers.

Very diss appointed to hear about jlg discontinuing the Lull brand. No other telehandler even compares. The dual joysticks are the smoothest around while allowing for multiple motions at the same time as compared to one joystick with buttons. Skytrack has two "joysticks" that take so much pressure to manipulate its hard to be smooth. Jlg is a four wheel steer Gradall...enough said. Then there's the obvious advantage...the transverse ability. This allows you to get out of certain situations, manipulate center of gravity, and actually use the entire length of your boom for height instead of wasting it reaching forward. A 42' lull would actually be the same as a 49' Jlg. I'm sure the rental companies are dictating this wanting cheap machines. Disappointing............

A sad day indeed. Lull had gone thru several bankruptcies and buyouts thru the years but it kept going. I helped to develop the 644/944e models and the traverse feature is very helpful in some industries like bricklayers. There has been a slow but constant shift from ownership to rentals, and with the added complexity, it is very hard to win on cost alone. It makes you wonder how they can justify to keep both JLG and Sky Trak? Probably don't want to alienate all the Trak dealers on the west coast.

Never liked having to fine position materials with the gradalls vs the 4 wheel steer machines. For bulk materials distribution around the site they worked well
