That's a good sized pin. There will be different ways to go about removing it. There are several people on here to offer suggestions and techniques. Are there any shims or spacers between the rod end and the boom?
They don't put anything on them and that makes it go real bad sometimes. It would be so much better if they anti-seized the bores and pins but that won't happen. They sell more pins this way.I don't know what JLG puts on those pins but I have NEVER come across a machine as bad as them for seizing. They always seize in the frame, never the cylinder.
I would have to check if there are shims . If there would be then I could probably get in with one of those special Milwaukee saws all blades .That's a good sized pin. Plus Jlg parts are pretty pricey .They don't put anything on them and that makes it go real bad sometimes. It would be so much better if they anti-seized the bores and pins but that won't happen. They sell more pins this way.
