JLG 33 Fuel pump

Does a jlg 33 have a fuel pump? when I get to about half a tank of fuel the lift quits, I can add gas it will run. The engine, kohler 18, is mounted higher than most of the fuel tank. I'm thinking it has to have a pump, like a golf cart, a pulsating pump, somewhere to lift the fuel to engine. Thanks for any help
