There's solenoids here. 3 hunnert or so.
Which solenoid had the zip tie on it? I wonder why? Maybe I'd start with replacing that one and seeing what happens. I had to replace my clutch cutout solenoid. It would get stuck open. But it was the mechanical workings of the valve, not the coil. Cuz the previous owner got a new solenoid and it didn't fix it. Eventually I got this kit from broken tractor which is the coil and the plunger valve and that fixed it.
The previous owner showed me that when it'd cut out and stop dead in its tracks to smack the top nut of the clutch cutout solenoid sharply with a 19mm wrench. That would jiggle it free and I could keep working. I put up with that sheet for a couple years before I could get the new plunger.
Try smacking the top nut of your clutch solenoid the next time you get stuck. Also I think you mentioned that it always happens after you've been shifting gears. Do you use the clutch cutout button to shift gears? *Don't do that!* if that's what's screwing up don't mess with it. I developed a mental block against using it and I just use to FNR lever to do all my work. I pretend the clutch cutout doesn't exist. For some reason I've gotten the idea that the clutch solenoids screw up more often than the FNR.
