HI,
I have a 2006 Isuzu FSR that has the check engine soon light on, what causes this to come on? Then should it reset itself after the problem is fixed? If not how does one reset it?
Cheers,
Nick

Is it common rail? If it is, a diagnostic scanner probably needs to be connected to read fault & clear it. Check your oil & water to be safe.
If it isn't common rail, it is a light that comes on to advise a service item - like a timing belt (which I'm nearly sure it wont have) or when a service is due - owners manual should advise, if you have one that is ......
What ever it is, you probably should ring a dealer
