I have an IR SD122DX padfoot roller which has a drive problem. We have isolated a faulty Sunstrand Sauer solenoid valve [photos enclosed]. Unfortunately [we're on a remote site], we don't have a parts book to identify the part number. Can anyone identify this solenoid/coil so i can get one ?...........................rgrds, rollerman

if you look on the side of the coil is there not a sticker under the paint? the coil manufactor is now sauer danfoss. also the armature bit of the valve should have infomation stamped into it, that could help with identification.

Expanding on the drive problem above, the machine will drive perfectly for a 20mins, lets say, then as the travel lever is brought through neutral into reverse, the machine will stop driving. No amount of cycling the travel lever, the park brake, the ignition key, will allow the roller to resume travel. Has anyone experienced this problem ? any suggestions ? After a period of shutdown, [2 hours] the machine will suddenly work normally. then again, after we have achieved operating temp again, the problem will repeat.
