The Engine has just under 4K hours. It’s a 2006 EC160BLC.The inlet manifold is free of oil ? - any smell of fuel in the sump ? - how may hours has the engine ?- valve stem oil seals are a possibility - much crank case compression ? -if the injectors are over dosing the pots I would expect that the oil would become diluted with fuel. The injectors as to the best of my knowledge are a Bosch part you may get the repaired serviced at one of there outlets. Sorry if I sound negative but the injectors are the last part of the fuel chain if they are in trouble there is a strong possibility that the rest of the fuel system has equal wear.
We have some information on that engine and will try to help more if we can is that a Ec210B we are talking ?
Kind regards
Uffex

No codes for crankshaft sensor on display. What do I need to look at specifically on the attached?Thats not so many hours the engine should be good are there any errors coming up on the display regarding the crankshaft sensor ? Please see attached check it out.

Uffex has provided really good info. How did you check the turbo? Just looking for oil or did you check the integrity of the shaft from the exhaust side to the intake side? Did you check your charged air cooler for cracks? How about the wastegate, if its equipped? Does it always smoke or just under snap throttle? Lots of things to peek at before fuel. Hope this helps you save a few bucks.
Yes checked the turbo from exhaust side and intake side as well. We took off piping and looked at everything. We checked 2 boots up top and they were ok but I have one more to check I found down low on the backside of the engine. Haven’t checked charge air cooler or wastegate (not sure where they are). It has smoked some a bluish smoke since I bought it (bought used about 200hrs ago). But within the last 50 hrs or so Noticed more black smoke and more of it. Still a little blue when first crank, and some smoke when running, but severest when under a load. Attaching a pic of it working recently.Uffex has provided really good info. See my reply toDid the machine get smokey all of a sudden or over a few hundred hours ?
Has anybody been near the fuel system in recent times ?
