Hello i have a forklift hyster H 3.50 XL SRN F5A716 OJ S/O 358060 with GM 4.3 6cyl lpg engine
its a manual powershift 1 speed
transmission problem
truck wont go forward only backwards

probably an electric shift transmission. Try and locate the shift solenoids (coils) on the transmission. swap coils and see if your problem changes direction.

Give us a little more info, when you put it in gear (forward) and let out the clutch is there any response at all? Like, does the engine sound change or a slight jerk in the drive train or is it completely dead. Does the linkage feel like it is doing anything and will it grind if you don't push the clutch in?
