Pulled the Hydraulic filter on the 955E and it had collapsed. I pulled it apart the filter and found no visible sparkles but it was quit plugged with dirt and a lot of seed from cottonwood and fireweed and seemed to be little to no rust (signs of water damage)

run for a week or so with tank cap missing maybe?
It's almost that time, here in Alaska, when the cottonwood goes to seed and when it dose the parking lots fill up inches deep sometimes it looks like snow. The fireweed does the something but in the fall and when you run through a field of fireweed you suddenly fell venerable being dwarfed by the fireweed sometimes reaching 11 to 15 feet tall. When driving through the tall fireweed will plug the radiator in just a short time. That stuff is like glacial silt it gets into EVERYTHING, yes even past these old seals.
