Hey guys been a long while since I have been in and am in an argument about internally leaking cylinders. Can anyone point me in the direction of the topic where this was highly discussed and had diagrams and such so I can prove him wrong

If you're talking about pressure intensification, then search hydraulic cylinder intensification. That will bring up whatever proof you need.
