How do you disassemble a T190 tilt cylinder, don't want to damage it, I have the seal kit, they are both off and had been leaking for some time...

I am plate where the rod goes into cylinder and can not seem to understand how to remove plate to get at nut. There are 2 holes across from each other. Is there a special tool, or is this welded shut?

yeah there is a tool, you need a gland nut wrench which can range from like $20-150 and that will take the cap off nicely, you can buy one from your local parts store like napa or carquest or some dealers sell them in the parts department. or you can use a large pipe wrench or chain wrench but youll scratch the heck out of the cylinder so your better off spending some money on the right tool. good luck
