how can I tell if a bucket is for a case or not? I mesured the pins, one is roughfly 5 inches in width the other is 10 inches. the distance from one pin to the other is roughtly about 14 inches. any markings i should look for?
You Identify it just how you did. All factory Case buckets, and aftermarket buckets for a Case backhoe, have front pin ears about 10 inches apart, and rear pin ears about 5 inches apart. If you find a bucket with pin ears that are the same width apart, that bucket is for another brand of backhoe.
