Looking at buying a loader out of state and want to know how to determine if a lien exists on the machine. Since there is no title I don't know how to find the liens, if they exist. Thanks for your help.

You need to check for UCC ( uniform commercial code) filings in the state or states where the machine was used or owned. Your bank should be able to help. If it is at an auction the auction co. should check for a clear title before sale. If the machine was used as collateral for commercial credit or a loan it probably will have a filing and the owner needs to clear that before sale.
