hour meter quit working

Anyone know how to check my hour meter on my asv pt30. It quit working. I am not real mechanical, just don;t know where it is hooked up to or hou to check it. Checked the connection and it is tight

Check if you have power going to it with the engine running. Could be a bad ground, bad connection, bad wire or runs off an oil pressure sensor that went bad, fuse, etc.
