I have a caterpillar 287 and for some reason while working today the machine will only move very slowly. The 2 speed kicks in for about 1 or seconds then the machine just barely moves. When you rev the motor up in higher rpms it sounds like there’s air in the system and there is a high pitched Whining noise. I have checked hydraulic fluid and change the hydro filter. My next step is to look at the 2 speed piston pump. Do you all have any other suggestions?
