Hello everyone, I am a journeyman lineman with my local electric cooperative. I have a small 55 acre farm and love tinkering and running any kind of equipment. I enjoy reading everyones experiences and hope to chime in when I can be of help!

Welcome jpasham34. With all the storms in the south central and south east U. S. you guys are probably on mutual aid much of the time. Our cooperative is always sending our linemen and equipment to the southeast.

Yes, we occasionally go help other cooperatives with storms. We don't go help as much as other co ops since we are very small and cant afford to send people off , especially when work is booming around here...
