dieselfreak Did you get your new addition home on Saturday????
Were they a common engine or just a few were out there? How much power were they. Can you even get parts for a Rolls Royce engine these days?
NO JAKE!!! It came with the old Williams Exhaust brake with the Rolls Royce. Those were the three position air switch with the guage beside the valve I will post a picture of them Good only for up shifting. They were just a air cylinder that operated a baffle in the exhaust pipe and the air valve controlled how much that valve would close. Williams made a modern day one and is still available today only it is called a "BLUE OX" exhaust brake. The US Military also used a similar one on the M123A1C 10 Ton Tractors used as tank transporters/retrievers with the 903 Cummins engines. They were an "After Issue Upgrade" because they were so slow to drop RPM between shifts. I have the truck and I have the two exhaust brake kits from US but never got around to installing them YET
