Gray market mitsubishi BD2G ?

I have a1988 BD2G dozer with 1577 hours. How can you tell if it is gray market. The serial # is 2B101842.

Smaller CATS were made by Mitsubishi

I think they are all grey, the non grey Mitsubbishi's are branded CAT.....They made the small cats, but not as small as a BB2G

LOL just to let you know the term grey market is a bunch of BS use term import. These things were 100% legal when brought in and CAT branded that because they were trying to separate their machines from imports.

When Cat inported them, they were Caterpillar. If they came in from some other country first, they are grey market. This article says that cat is shifting production from Japan to the USA.........
