Got quotes for repair. Too much for boss to swallow.

Common crack where the "tank" meets the frame, which is also part of the tank.

Can't spend the time taking the engine out.

Any thoughts on cutting an access hole to weld the crack from the inside?

Thanks,
Rob

find a 580l or sl fuel tank and put it where your battery box is on the left hand step and move the battery under the the pop up lid that holds the hood down done many and u will never have a fuel tank problem again and no more dieseling

Hey Bob,
That's sounds like a great idea!
I was looking at pictures of the 580l. Is that the fuel tank where the battery box is on the SK?
Thanks!

Just be mindful of that crack & check it from time to time - that it doesn't grow into something really ugly
