Fill level in hydraulic reservoir New Holland LX485?

Manual says to fill to mark with all cylinders retracted, however, the symbol on the tank appears to show a fully raised boom and extended curl next to the mark. Anyone have a similar machine and have an answer? I have pumped the reservoir to the bottom and want to be sure to not pump it dry when I start the skidsteer.

If you were to fill to the mark, with hydraulics extended, then when you retracted, the returning oil would overfill the level on tank. Or overflow the tank. Not what you want. I would go with manual.
