Pretty much if you can put enough ponys in front of it and enough axles under it, weight really doesn't matter
Pretty fair assessment.

We don't hardly see frameless dump trailers here unless they're out of state boys hauling something in like corn gluten. That usually comes from Illinois, about a 3-4 hour drive from us.

Is a reason has not installed that tarp, takes three to five people to do that and almost a class in electrical engineering.

Frameless, 25 years old, these were bad for cracking at pivots early in life, corrosion the other elephant in the room with how long the liner has been in it and how much left overs are still under it

NOT Know the PTO is still engaged
We lost a PTO pump on one of our live bottom silage trucks last fall because the driver left it engaged when leaving the pit and drove back to the field. He shifted the control to neutral to stop the chain but left the PTO engaged. There is no warning light on this truck to let you know PTO is engaged. He didn't realize he had left it on until he went to unload again. About fifteen minutes of it running with the valve in closed position burned the pump right out of it. It says right in the operation manual of the new pump to not leave PTO engaged with control lever in neutral as it builds pressure and heat in pump with nowhere to release it.

Oh come on guys---just how many trucks do you think are running around with a
pto warning light that doesn't work? For that matter how many with no interlock/
locker warning that works?
*
But If a person is aware--they will notice on a manual trans it's hard to get into
gear from neutral with PTO engaged. With a AMT you just drive along and roast it.

Out of our 6 trucks with PTO, none have functional PTO indicator light. The two others that I owned didn't have it either.

I am pretty sure all of our trucks have a functional indicator light for the interaxle lock though. Mostly by luck because I know zero effort has been put forth to make sure they work.

Mine shuts the pto off when you lower the bed. It's a little bit of a pain if the bed needs lowered spreading rock. I've left the pto on with the old controls. Never left the bed up, don't really see how that can happen.
