Yesterday I bought this little set up that I been agonizing over for close to a year. It is a later Model DW-10 that was fitted with a Cat bottom dump at the factory. Sometime along its life this one and one other was turned into water wagons by welding a tank around the dump wagon. The doors and sheaves were removed first. Not many of these out there. It has the 318 engine, same as the 9U series dozer. A push with the resident D6B with fuel off and compression release on we and built up the oil pressure and lubed things up. Turned the compression on, gave it some throttle and it started in less than 10 ft. The pony has a very crudded up fuel tank and no spark at the current time. The pony crank is tight and it has good compression. It should go with a bit of tinkering work.
