Drain case filters s220

I have a s220
And have never changed out the drain case filters any advice on how hard it is to change them and it leak out a bunch hydraulic?? Thanks

Not bad. The case drain is directly plumbed to the reservoir, so it will leak until the reservoir is empty. Remove/verify no pressure in the reservoir. Cap/plug the case drain line with a -6 or -8 JIC while you clean the canister and install the replacement. I don’t remember the size of the line. I’m pretty sure it’s -8.
