Had to replace a water pump inner gasket behind the timing case and forgot to lock the injector pump before removing the gear. What’s the best way to fix this to get it back in time?

Pump is a Delphi DP210.

There’s only 1000 models of DP210 and 500 different lock timing degrees..

I had to take it to a Delphi authorized service center. Apparently it requires special equipment to set. Expensive mistake. Never for get to lick the pump before servicing anything associated whit it.

Just got a text for a DP310 that the customer unlocked..& wanted me to time it..
I can do the 210 but not the 310.. like u said, a VERY expensive mistake..
