Does anyone have any information of the adaptors to mount an alternator on a 17A. Does anybody have one for sale?

Thanks Bruce.

Don't know of anyone selling adapters but there are a couple of versions of working assemblies available. Some make their own adapters out of old generators.
The commercial units are not cheap, about $450 bucks.

The best ones look like this, have cooling fans and flex couplings and Delco Alternators.
The CME units are ok but watch what Alternater they use (some have oddball Motorola or Leece Neville units)
There is also a crude Delco version out there with no coupling or fan and gas axe adapter that I would not recommend.

For the good one try either www.grangertractor.com in Ohio
or www.florintractor.com in Calif.
