E361(2) Low Aftertreatment #1 DEF Pressure #1

I can see DEF pressure at standby, 134psi, but, my TEXA doesn't acknowledge the DEF module, or at least I don't know how to make it talk.

Obviously, the DEF injector is suspect.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, before I load the parts cannon.

Pull injector, inspect SCR mixing chamber for crystal mountain. Run def injector into clean Gatorade bottle and see if your Texa can trigger the SCR/DEF accuracy test that ET can. If it drips during priming or if it doesn’t spray in a clean conical pattern it’s ****ed. If it’s got DEF mountains in the mixing chamber the injector is also toast.

Extended Idling kills these injectors. Shutting the master switch off with the light on also kills these as it cycles DEF thru the injector without triggering the solenoid for cooldown.

There also tends to be a software update to get CAT out to do on these as well in conjunction with the injector replacement.
