Allis was a major innovator on 3pt. Live hydraulics off the engine as a accessory drive not nose or transmission mounts, as well as the Torque Tube Power Director that was installed on the C, D series and improved on the 100 series. Another innovator was Oliver where the 3pt was Power Down as well up, IH produced models with that as well. Implements did ot tend to Float but could be maintained at depth.
IH had a two point hitch, it was a good design, but not interchangeable implements. You had to buy implements specifically made by or for an IH tractor.
Conversion kits were offered, not real popular.

When I was a young man, an abandoned TD9 was on a small piece of land I knew to be owned by a very old man who lived in another state. I approached him, asked to buy it. Days later I saw it being loaded on a trailer. It seems my inquiry must have started him thinking about it.
The blade was built by another company in that era. Bucyrus/Eerie built the first hydraulic blades for IH.
IH used the same tractor as a track loader, (with alterations) some had Drott skid loaders.
Not sure if this was manufactured simultaneous with cable blade machines?
